Reading Strategies

Reading Strategies are methods you can use to help your child improve reading habits.

You may know first hand the frustration involved in getting kids to read for school assignments; try getting them to read just for the fun of it.

Ask any parent of a tween or adolescent, and they'll tell you: "their kid hates to read". I say, it's not that they hate to read. They just don't want to find the time to get quiet, settle down, and pick up a book.

They have more important things to do like: watching television, texting, or playing video games.

What's a parent to do?

You must stay ahead of the game by finding creative ways to expose your children to new and exciting ways to read. Sit back, kick your feet up, and explore the links below for the best strategies employed by anyone anywhere.
